The Blessing of Seeking God and His Kingdom First
神とその御国をまず求めることの祝福
Matthew 6:33-34
マタイ 6:33-34
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
まず神の国とその義とを求めなさい。そうすれば、これらのものはすべて加えて与えられます。
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
だから、明日のことを思い煩ってはなりません。明日のことは明日が思い煩います。その日の苦労はその日だけで十分です。
It is amazing that people worry so much about things.
人々がそんなに多くのことを心配するのは本当に不思議です。
God does not want His people to worry.
神はご自身の民が心配することを望んでおられません。
Worry implies a lack of trust.
心配は信頼の欠如を意味します。
All through the Bible, God has shown Himself faithful to His Word and to those who trust in Him.
聖書全体を通して、神はご自身の御言葉に対して、そしてご自身を信頼する者に対して誠実であることを示しておられます。
In this passage, Jesus is teaching His disciples about this.
この箇所で、イエスは弟子たちにそのことを教えています。

God loves you so much and cares about every area of your life.
神はあなたを非常に愛しておられ、あなたの人生のすべての領域を気にかけておられます。
He longs to have fellowship with His children.
神はご自身の子どもたちと交わりを持つことを切望しておられます。
Isn’t it amazing that God, who created all things, can also provide for your every need? And He wants to.
全てのものを創造された神が、あなたのすべての必要を満たすこともできるなんて、本当に驚くべきことではありませんか？ しかも、神はそれを望んでおられます。
So let us do what Jesus says: to seek first God our heavenly Father in prayer and in His Word.
ですから、イエスが言われるように、祈りと御言葉においてまず天の父なる神を求めましょう。
Let us seek first His kingdom and righteousness.
まず神の国とその義とを求めましょう。
Then Jesus said, all that we need will be added to us.
すると、イエスは言われました、私たちが必要とするすべてのものが加えて与えられると。
The world chases after these things and worries about all these things.
世の中の人々はこれらのものを追い求め、すべてのことを心配しています。
But our God desires to provide all these things and for you to just ask, trust, and follow His way. This will give you His perfect peace.
しかし、私たちの神はこれらすべてのものを与えることを望んでおられ、ただ求め、信頼し、その道に従うことを願っておられます。そうすることで、神の完全な平安が与えられます。
It is not just receiving from His hand, but it is much more. It is seeking His face, to have close fellowship with Him.
それはただ神の御手から受け取ることだけではなく、それ以上のものです。神の御顔を求め、親しい交わりを持つことです。
When a child comes to ask their father for something, and the father gives it, and the child does not say thank you or even spend time with their father, it makes the father sad.
子どもが父親に何かをお願いし、それを父親が与えても、子どもが感謝もせず、父親と時間を過ごさないとき、父親は悲しくなります。
In that case, things become more important than the father.
その場合、物が父親よりも大切になってしまいます。
But how much better when the child seeks first to spend time with their father.
しかし、まず父親と時間を過ごすことを求める子どもの方がどれほど素晴らしいでしょうか。
The father is so happy, and desires to bless them and give them those things they ask of him, that are according to his will and for the child’s good.
父親はとても喜び、その子どもが求めるものを、父親の御心にかなうものであり、その子どもの益となるものなら、与えたいと願います。
How much more our God who is perfect. He wants for us to see the greater value of fellowship with Him in prayer, talking to Him, and receiving from Him His deep love, joy, and peace. He speaks life-giving words that strengthen us and change us to be more like Jesus.
完全な神である私たちの神は、どれほどそれ以上のことをしてくださるでしょうか。神は、祈りを通してご自身との交わりのより大きな価値を私たちに理解してほしいと願っておられます。神と話し、その深い愛、喜び、そして平安を受け取ることです。神は、私たちを力づけ、イエスにより似た者へと変えるいのちを与える御言葉を語ってくださいます。
I want to encourage you today to make time to be with God in prayer and in reading His Word, the Bible.
今日はぜひ、神と共に過ごす時間を作り、祈りと聖書である御言葉を読むことをお勧めしたいと思います。
Open your heart and honestly say to Him, “Father, I want to know you more.” “Help me seek first Your face and Your kingdom.” And then ask Him during your time together for those things that you need.
心を開いて、正直にこう神に言いましょう。「父よ、もっとあなたを知りたいです。」 「あなたの御顔と御国をまず求める助けをください。」 そして、一緒に過ごす時間の中で、自分が必要とすることを神に求めましょう。
He will answer; He will give you those things that are good for you according to His righteousness and love. He will not give you something that is against His Word or heart character.
神は必ず答えてくださり、ご自身の義と愛に従って、あなたにとって良いものを与えてくださいます。神はご自身の御言葉や御心に反するものを与えることはありません。
The more you read His Word, the more your faith can grow as you know Him and His ways and walk in them. He will give you the power to follow Him through the Holy Spirit who lives in you who are truly born again.
御言葉を読むほどに、神とその道を知り、それに歩むことで、あなたの信仰はますます成長します。神は、真に新しく生まれた者の内に住んでおられる聖霊を通して、従う力を与えてくださいます。
Enjoy Jesus, and be thankful to Him and to God the Father who loves you so much and saved you for a great and glorious future.
イエスを楽しみ、あなたを非常に愛し、素晴らしく栄光に満ちた未来のために救ってくださった神である父に感謝しましょう。
This world is passing away. But we who trust in Jesus have an eternal home waiting for us in Heaven.
この世は過ぎ去っていきます。しかし、イエスを信頼する私たちには、天に永遠の住まいが待っています。
Live each day seeking first the Lord God and His kingdom and righteousness, and all that you need will be added to you.
毎日を生きる中で、まず主なる神とその御国と義を求めましょう。そうすれば、あなたが必要とするすべてのものが加えられます。
There is no need to worry anymore. God will take care of you. You just focus on Him and follow Him. All is well, in Jesus’ name.
もう心配する必要はありません。神があなたを守ってくださいます。ただ神に心を向け、従っていきましょう。すべてはイエスの御名
において大丈夫です。
