Consecrate, Crossover, Conquer
More than ever before, the Church of Jesus Christ must be about the business of the Father, and that business is saving souls.
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
In Joshua chapter five, we see the Joshua is about ready to attack Jericho, but before he does, he has an encounter with the Lord, the Commander of the Lord’s army.
The Commander of the Lord’s Army
Jos 5:13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”
Jos 5:14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”
Jos 5:15 Then the Commander of the LORD’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.
This is what is going to be very important for the child of God this year, more than any time in your life. We must surrender all our ideas and plans and take off our sandals (figuratively the flesh, human wisdom and the way we think we should do things). For the Lord is going to do mighty things in and through His church throughout the world. But it is not going to be by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord.
This requires us to be in the presence of the Lord in prayer and in the Word of God, praying in the Holy Spirit, and by His grace and fire, renewing our all to Jesus, to daily consecrate our life to Him, to crossover each day ready to carry out His will, and then conquer the powers of darkness and set the captives free, saving lost souls every where we place the soles of our feet, advancing the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. This is the time! Child of God, rise up, for the glory of the Lord is risen upon you in Jesus name!
Go before the Lord, in humble Worship, receive His Word, and then by faith and obedience, be His Witness in this world through His power and glory by the Holy Spirit of God. Acts 1:8.
You have longed for the Lord to use you, so NOW it is time. No more waiting, no more wondering. Surrender all to Jesus today afresh, and let the fire of God fill your soul and spirit, setting you ablaze for His eternal glory.
Look not at your past, but looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith, move with God and see His glory revealed. As the disciples went out and preached the gospel, the Lord confirmed His Word by the signs that followed. Hallelujah!
Jesus is coming soon, and the devil has but a short time, therefore, child of God, the harvest is truly great, but the laborers are few. Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out more laborers, and YOU as well, for there is nothing impossible with God.
In 2022, we are going to see like never before, what the LORD shall do. His army, His people, His glory shall be revealed as the waters cover the see, for His church shall move together with the Head, Jesus Christ, in unity, and in power.
YOU dear saint of God are part of this great end time harvest. Be strong and of good courage, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Bring the lost to Jesus today!
Jos 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
