Be not troubled

I have decided to follow Jesus; no turning back, no turning back.

When Jesus asks a question, we need to listen carefully. Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? Luke 24:38.

Luke 24:39 Here we have such clear testimony and proof that should be evidence enough to cause each one of us to repent and believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives. This is a true story , it really happened, and it really matters to us right now today. For we all need hope, we all need salvation and we ALL need Jesus!

Because if Jesus is alive, and He is, then He is the same yesterday, today and forever. And His mercy endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34.

It means that God, through Jesus Christ His Son, has forgiven your sins, ALL of them, no matter how many there are. Only one sin can send a person to hell forever, only one. James 2:10.

We should be grateful to the Lord that He does not count our sins against us anymore when we trust in Jesus Christ who has become for us the wisdom and righteousness of God. Psalm 130:3, Psalm 103:1-3, Psalm 103:8-12, 1 Corinthians 1:30.

Other very important Scripture truth is found here; Matthew 12:31, 1 John 3:20, 1 John 4:4, Romans 6:1-2.

Consider a young infant child.

Consider a young infant child. They know nothing of right or wrong. God wants to restore us and make us new as if we had never sinned. The Bible is talking about becoming a new creation of God in the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Yes, it is possible, and it is true. This is the new birth that Jesus spoke about to Nicodemus in John 3:1-5. He said that we must be born again or we cannot see or enter the kingdom of God.

However, though we are born again in our spirit and given freely the gift of eternal life, Romans 6:23, our soul and our body are now saved. The body will die because of the effect of sin from Adam Romans 5:12-17, and our soul needs to be renewed, transformed, and saved through the washing of the Word of God Romans 12:1-2, Ephesians 5:26-27, Ephesians 4:22. This is where the Holy Spirit who comes to indwell the born again child of God John 14:17, and guides them into all truth John 16:13 and teaches them all things 1 John 2:27, renewing their minds as the mind of Christ 1 Corinthians 2:16.

During our life on earth, we can walk in close fellowship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit and His Word abiding in us. The Holy Spirit has come to give us power to be like Jesus when He was here on earth, to do the same works as He did and greater works than these that the Son may bring glory to the Father. John 14:12.

We are no longer walking alone. We now walk with the living God, walking in fellowship with Him every day and know His voice and live in victory over sin, the flesh, the devil, all demons, all sickness and disease, and all the evil that is in the world. And this is the victory we have over all these things, even our faith 1 John 5:4.

We have God Himself, Who is for us and not against us, to be with us every day and every step of the way through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We have no need to fear what is happening in the world, because we have the Answer for the the world, Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. Amen.

What shall we do then?

Jesus said that we must be born again John 3:3.

What we can do right now is make the decision to repent and believe and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. Mark 1:15, John 1:12-13, John 3:16-17. We need to humble ourself and call upon the name of the Lord Jesus to save us. 1 Peter 5:5-11, Romans 10:9-13.

We need to surrender fully to Jesus, 100%, all of our past, present and future. He will forgive and He will save us. And He will never leave us nor forsake us Matthew 28:18-20 Hebrews 13:5.

We need to be baptized in water as a declaration we have died in Christ and risen in Christ to a new life Mark 16:15.

Salvation is only by God’s grace through our faith Ephesians 2:8-10. Jesus has finished forever His perfect work of salvation through His perfect sacrifice for us on the cross Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, Hebrews 9:12-15. Then He was buried, but on the third day He rose again by the power of God 1 Corinthians 15:1-8. We cannot add to or take away from what He did for us. Revelation 1:5.

We also need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues Acts 2:1-4, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 10:46, Acts 19:6, 1 Corinthians 12:10, 1 Corinthians 14:5-6.

This is the reason why that salvation is a FREE gift from God to you and me Romans 6:23. Though we all deserve death and hell, God does not want any person to perish and go to hell 2 Peter 3:8-9.

Finally, as we humble ourself daily before the Lord and under His mighty hand, we daily surrender all to Him and submit to Him, then we will be able to resist the devil and he will flee, and we will not walk after the flesh but walk after the Holy Spirit, being in agreement with Him and the Word of God. We will, by the grace of God upon our lives, stand firm, stand strong, walk strong, live strong, and finish strong to the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ our Lord.

He is faithful and will complete the good work He began in each one of us who truly know Him. Hallelujah for Jesus!

Yes, we HAVE now a very Bright and Blessed Hope for tomorrow as we live and walk in Faith with Jesus!

He fills us with His perfect love, perfect peace, and His daily presence. Philippians 4:6-7. Talk together with Him in prayer, meditate on His glorious Word every day, filling and renewing your soul with the glorious truth of His Word and promises.

Be not troubled, therefore, dear ones.

In closing, follow His Word in Mark 16:15-20. Amen.
