So you want to stand on sand, do you? On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.
However, do you not know that the rains are here, the floods are rising, the winds are blowing violently, all against your house. What is YOUR house, where have YOU built it, and on what have YOU built it?
Jesus taught these words:
Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Mat 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Mat 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
Mat 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
There are only two places to build your life, on the rock or on the sand. God desires the best for your life, so He clearly shows us that His desire is for us to build our life on the Rock, which is His Son Jesus and the Word of God.
God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our life built on sand. His mercy is greater than all our sin, all our weaknesses, and all our failures. Jesus paid the price for our sin by dying on the cross, taking our punishment for our sins against God. He was crucified, buried, but on the third day, He rose again triumphantly and is alive today. He will save to the uttermost those who repent and come to Him in faith.
No one has to tell you that this world is getting darker by the hour. Did you know that Jesus spoke of these things?

On a beautiful day, when the weather outwardly is sunny, warm, and the breeze of the wind and the waves are gently moving, many people do not care and do not prepare for the coming storm. One moment all is well, the next moment all is hell.
All that you have build has crashed and is gone. This is not what God desires for your life. He desires that you have an abundant life WITH Him, in a relationship that is so amazing and secure. This life is not to be our rock, Jesus and His Word which is eternal and never changing is to be our ROCK. All other ground is sinking sand.
Jesus reveals to us that we have a choice. Sand or Rock. There is no middle. Choose today to repent and put your faith and trust in Jesus who loves you, in God who sent Him to save you from your sins and give you the free gift of eternal life.
Then follow Jesus and His Word through the power of the Holy Spirit who will come to live in you, giving you a new heart and renew your mind by the Word of God.
One day you will be with Jesus face to face in Heaven with all who have trusted in Him as their Rock of salvation.
Man cannot save himself, but Jesus can save you completely. He is not against you, He is for you. Run to Him now, build your hope, life, and faith in Jesus and His Word.

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Rom 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
