Our Present Sufferings not Worthy of the Coming Glory Romans 8:18
What we go through now is NOTHING compared to the glory of what God has in store for those who love Him, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.
- Those after the flesh have their pleasure (this is the closest to heaven they will ever experience) now, but afterward they will be cast into the lake of fire. They chose to reject Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
- Those after the Spirit have their suffering now (like hell; this is the closest to hell they will ever experience), but afterward they will enjoy eternity with Jesus forever. We have chosen to receive by faith Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
The earth is NOW subject to vanity and groans, just as we do in our mortal bodies, but we have the hope of God and His promise through Jesus Christ, of a new heaven and new earth, and we will have new immortal bodies promised by Jesus by His resurrection from the dead.
Hope means something real but cannot be seen or experienced fully right now.
So we wait PATIENTLY for it.
And who has the Father through Jesus sent to help us in this time of waiting for the glorious hope in our near future?
The Holy Spirit. He is the One who gives us power in our weaknesses, He is the One who helps us in and during this time in every single area of our lives to the glory of God.
He helps in our weaknesses, infirmities, and sufferings to pray and to live for God by the power of God.
God knows all things, so the Holy Spirit helps us pray in tongues because of the weakness and limitations of our own flesh and human understanding.
So Paul says that because of this we KNOW that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Praise the Lord for His abounding grace and mercy to us.
Before God made anything, He already had a plan to save those who would believe in Jesus. These would be conformed to the image of His Son. He pre-destined these things. Jesus is the first, the first-born among many brethren.
Those who accept Jesus have been predestined, called, justified, and glorified. Romans 8:30.
Therefore,
Paul says, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Look what the Lord has done for us through the suffering, sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
He was delivered up for us ALL!
So how will He not with Jesus who is sitting at His right hand in heaven right now with all power and authority given to Him, how will God not with Jesus, also freely give us all things?
Now consider what the Holy Spirit says through these words written through Paul.
Three questions and answers. Romans 8:33-35.
Romans 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
At this present time: many believers around the world are in great suffering, even death for Jesus.
But they are more than conquerors through Him who loves them and who loves you and me who are in Christ. They and we have a glorious hope waiting for us. The world hates us and considers us as sheep to be slaughtered.
But the resounding praise and glory to God through Jesus says: Romans 8:37-39.
Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Fully persuaded
Let us, along with Paul, rejoice and declare boldly what we are persuaded by.
Nothing shall separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hallelujah for Jesus, our Lord and Savior, our King and brother, our Healer and Deliverer.
All glory to God for ever and ever. Amen. Thank You Father, thank You Jesus, and thank You precious Holy Spirit.

私たちの現在の苦しみは、来るべき栄光に値しない ロマ8:18
私たちが今経験していることは、神を愛し、肉によらず御霊に従って歩む人々に用意されている栄光に比べれば、たいしたことではない。
- 肉に従う者たちは、今は喜びを経験するが（それは彼らが経験する天国に最も近いものである）、その後、火の池に投げ込まれる。彼らはイエスを主であり救い主として拒むことを選んだのだ。

それは聖霊である。聖霊は、私たちの弱さに力を与え、神の栄光のために人生のあらゆる領域で私たちを助けてくださるお方です。
私たちの弱さ、弱さ、苦しみの中で、聖霊は私たちが神の力によって祈り、神のために生きるのを助けてくださる。
神はすべてのことを知っておられるので、聖霊は私たちが異言で祈るのを助けてくださる。
ですから、私たちは、神を愛する者たち、すなわち神の目的に従って召された者たちのために、すべてのことを有益にするために、聖霊が私たちのうちに働いてくださることを知っています。私たちに対する神の豊かな恵みと憐れみを賛美しよう。
神は何かを創造される前から、イエスを信じる者を救う計画を持っておられた。彼らは御子に似せて造られる。神はこれらのことをあらかじめ定めておられた。イエスは長子であり、多くの兄弟の中の長子である。
イエスを受け入れる者は、定められ、召され、義とされ、栄光を受ける。ローマ8:30
ですから
パウロは言う。神が私たちのためにおられるなら、だれが私たちに逆らうことができようか。
イエスの苦しみ、犠牲の死、葬り、復活を通して神が私たちのためにしてくださったことを見てください。
私たち皆のために、イエスの唯一無二の犠牲によって私たちを救い出してくださったのです！
すべての力と権威を与えられ、天の右の座に着いておられるイエスがおられるのに、なぜ神はすべてのものを惜しみなくお与えにならないのでしょうか？
では、パウロを通して書かれたこれらの言葉を通して、聖霊が何を語っているのか考えてみよう。

ローマ8:33 神に選ばれた人々を訴えるのはだれですか。神が義と認めてくださるのです。
ローマ8:34 罪に定めようとするのはだれですか。死んでくださった方、いや、よみがえられた方であるキリスト・イエスが、神の右の座に着き、私たちのためにとりなしていてくださるのです。
ローマ8:35 私たちをキリストの愛から引き離すのはだれですか。患難ですか、苦しみですか、迫害ですか、飢えですか、裸ですか、危険ですか、剣ですか。
今、世界中の多くの信者が、イエスのために大きな苦しみ、死さえも経験している。
しかし、彼らを愛し、キリストにあるあなたと私を愛してくださる方によって、彼らは打ち勝つ者以上にあります。彼らにも私たちにも、輝かしい希望が待っている。世は私たちを憎み、屠殺される羊のように見ている。
しかし、イエスによる神への賛美と栄光はこう語る。
ローマ8:37 しかし、私たちは、私たちを愛してくださった方によって、これらすべてのことの中にあっても、圧倒的な勝利者となるのです。
ローマ8:38 私はこう確信しています。死も、いのちも、御使いも、権威ある者も、今あるものも、後に来るものも、力ある者も、
ローマ8:39 高さも、深さも、そのほかのどんな被造物も、私たちの主キリスト・イエスにある神の愛から、私たちを引き離すことはできません。
完全な確信
パウロのように、私たちも喜び、確信をもって大胆に宣言しよう。
私たちの主キリスト・イエスにある神の愛から、私たちを引き離すものは何一つありません。
私たちの現在の苦しみは、来るべき栄光にはふさわしくない。
私たちの主であり救い主であり、王であり兄弟であり、癒し手であり救い主であるイエスにハレルヤ。
すべての栄光は永遠に神に。アーメン。父なる神さま、イエスさま、尊い聖霊さまに感謝します。
